What information is collected
Web tools
The free web tools do not require an account. Inputs you submit are processed to produce a result and are not stored long-term.
Basic server logs may temporarily record:
- IP address
- Timestamp
- Requested endpoint
- HTTP status code
These logs exist for security, abuse prevention, and operational troubleshooting.
API usage
API access is provided via RapidAPI. API keys, billing information, and usage analytics are managed by RapidAPI, not directly by HeffTools.
HeffTools receives limited request metadata required to serve API responses and enforce rate limits.
Contact messages
If you submit a message via the contact form, the information you provide (such as your email address and message content) is used only to respond to your inquiry.
Contact information is not added to marketing lists and is not shared with third parties.
What is not collected
- No advertising identifiers
- No cross-site tracking
- No marketing profiles
- No sale or rental of user data
HeffTools does not embed third-party ad networks or behavioral analytics scripts.
Cookies
HeffTools does not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
If cookies are used at all, they are limited to:

- Basic functionality (such as CSRF protection)
These cookies are essential for site operation and are not used for profiling.
Data retention
Data is retained only as long as necessary to operate and secure the service.
- Operational logs are rotated and purged regularly

Third-party services
HeffTools relies on a small number of third-party services to operate:
- RapidAPI — API key management, billing, and usage analytics
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to serve the site and APIs
These services process data only as necessary to provide their functionality. HeffTools does not authorize them to use data for advertising purposes.
